Want to Learn a Language and Have Fun at the Same Time?
Toni is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who will motivate sessions by making the learning fun and active. Having lived and worked in both France and Spain, she believes learning through immersion, in other words, learning in the native country, is the most effective and most enjoyable way to acquire and develop a language. The focus of our summer courses in French is mainly on communication, however developing the understanding and production of language already acquired and improving particular language skills are combined. At all levels, from complete beginner to the more advanced learner, she will concentrate on the maximum production of language. French will be incorporated as much as possible - even when you are partaking in activities instructors and guides will be briefed that you are here to be immersed!
The sessions will vary from working inside the chalet, or outside in the garden, to going around the villages sampling real life French scenarios through speaking and integrating with the locals. Young children and teenagers are welcome (from toddlers right through to ‘young adults’) to partake in classes which will run on a daily package from 9:30 - 11:30 or 12:30 depending on what the focus is, however this is flexible. All materials are provided and tea, coffee and stickies will be provided at the end of each session to treat yourself after all your hard work.
If a group are all working at different levels, it is difficult to tailor make a particular package, so French for fun, which is an interactive, treasure hunt style of course can be used as this caters for everyone, in particular families wanting to work together. On the other hand, if I only have particular individuals who are working towards an exam or wish to go over a particular aspect of the language then courses can be tailor made to focus on such requests (Students may have to provide they own learning resources for this section).
