1. Do I need a passport photo for my lift pass?

No, you do not require a photo for your lift pass, unless you are buying a season pass. Dates of birth are required when buying additional "Carte Neige" Insurance and for guests who are younger than 5 or older than 74.

2. What essential items should we pack?

Please note that it is nice and warm in the chalet so you won't need thick jumpers for inside!

Please note that we have a no outdoor footwear policy in the chalet, so please bring slippers or dedicated indoor-only footwear e.g. clean Crocs, flip-flops or slip-ons.

Please do not forget your beach towels for the summer pool side living

All of our bathrooms have hairdryers and all bedrooms have UK adaptors

3. Is there a cash machine locally?

Yes, there is a cash machine in Morillon and several in Samoëns. However, there is not a cash machine located at Morillon 1100, Les Esserts. Please be aware that if you draw out money at Geneva Airport you will receive Swiss Francs as you are in Switzerland.

4. Do you offer ski tuition or guiding/hosting?

No, we are not a ski school and we do not offer ski guiding or hosting. We can however advise, organise and pre-book all of your ski school on your behalf and offer ski familiarisation to help get you started.

5. Are we limited on when we can be in the chalet or apartments?

No, we believe that our accommodation becomes a home from home for the duration of your holiday, so please feel free to come and go as you please. We just ask you to be considerate to others and keep the noise levels down if it is very early or very late. If you wish to stay in your rooms or in the chalet during the day, we generally clean up to 11.30 am, after that we cannot guarantee that the rooms will be cleaned, although we will always try our best to do so. If you do not wish to be disturbed please leave your bin outside your door.

6. Do we have sole use of the swimming pool?

The swimming pool, gardens and trampoline are for the use of guests in Chalet Esprit and our family. We also offer the use of the pool to Apartment Exige guests for an additional 150€ per week.  We have found that this covivial outside living is condusive to a great holiday experience and often creates life long new friendships of like minded people.

7. Can we bring duty-free drinks into the chalet?

Yes, however, we just ask that you buy your mixers from us for spirits. We do have an extensive wine list and a selection of spirits and liqueurs available for sale in the chalet when requested.

8. Are you a legitimate business?

Yes, we are a legitimate business. As per the French Law, we hold a drinks and 'Restaurateurs' Licence II. With this we can legally provide and sell you alcohol and food. We also hold a 'Transfer de Voyager' licence for our vehicules which authorises us to legally transport you locally. We are fully insured both within the chalet and on the roads. All these licenses are available to view in the chalet.
